Greg graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama (1996) from Victoria University, New Zealand. He worked for two years with New Zealand's best playwrights, actors and directors at Playmarket, New Zealand's leading playwrights' agency. During this time, he was the NZ contributor/writer for Lowdown, Australia's youth performing arts magazine and Playmarket News, New Zealand's leading professional theatre magazine (both world-wide). In 1994, he was honoured by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, Duncan Sarkies Special was nominated for Best New NZ Play at the 1997 Theatre Awards, and Wild Man Eyes' won two 2002 Festival awards.

Greg returned to New York in late 2002 where he has been to date successfully producing Fashion Shows in NYC Fashion Week, most notably for 'Multi By Bree'. When he is not producing or performing, Wikstrom's other passion is travel: in the last ten years he has lived, worked and/or travelled in some thirty odd countries on four continents and can speak three foreign languages fluently.
